New P&G Brandsampler!

P&G always comes out with sample packs of their products and I LOVE it! It's like Christmas in the mail. They have samples ranging from personal care products to household cleaning stuff. Better hurry though, the samples always goes fast! Just go here and fill out a little survey (the number/type of samples you get depend on how you answer the questions) and voila! The samples will arrive in the mail when you least expect it and make your (or at least mine) day!

Disney Movie Rewards

Several years ago, Disney came out with the Movie Rewards program. Basically you get points for every Disney DVD and CD you buy and every movie you watch in theatres. I have been collecting points for quite a while now. Recently they started the free birthday gift promotion. You get a FREE blu-ray movie of your choice (there are only 5 you can choose from) for only $2.95 shipping! This is ridiculously cheap if you know the prices of Disney products. My sister's birthday is today (Happy birthday!) and she chose Enchanted. Take advantage now and sign up! Message me your email and I will send you a referral for it.

Update on Life

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I've been madly applying to jobs that I even remotely qualify for, and sending out some general applications to companies. Ugh. So far, I've only had one phone interview, and I'm not sure that went all too well either. Plus it's just a summer job, but it would be a pretty awesome one. The problem is, there isn't enough entry-level positions. How about giving new grads a chance, huh?! All the positions I look at require 5 to 10 years of experience or a masters/phd. :( How am I supposed to get experience if no one will hire me in the first place? I need to get back to volunteering.

Anyway. Other than job hunting, I have been continuing to enter contests and trying to keep up with Swagbucks and Irazoo (see links on side to sign up!). I picked up my watch from the Safeway Lucky Break contest, and my mum got a call today to pick up hers as well, yay! I also made a couple of orders from Amazon.ca and Amazon.com using my stash of FREE Amazon gift cards that I earned from Swagbucks and Irazoo (WOOHOO, best sites ever). I ordered:

Kick Ass!

I watched Kick Ass last night. I thought it was a pretty good movie! Sort of like Kill Bill but with kids. The little 11 year old girl killing a bunch of baddies without flinching is a little creepy though, since she does it with such precision. Nicolas Cage plays Big Daddy, the father of the 11 year old Hit Girl, and he's a little sadistic, training his daughter to be this killing machine to get revenge on a crime lord.Crazy. I recommend Kick Ass, it's a fun movie filled with foul language and ass kicking, if you enjoy action superhero movies!

Dine Out Vancouver 2010

Each year, a lot of fabulous restaurants put together a menu that lets you sample what they have to offer at their restaurants without breaking the bank (They keep raising the prices each year though). This year, the menus are $18, $28 or $38. You get a full course meal and some pretty fancy restaurants. I've never been to one myself, but I'm definitely planning to go this year. Dine Out Vancouver runs from April 26 to May 6th this year. Better make reservations, the popular restaurants book up fast!
